About This Course

In many companies, meetings are notorious for being unproductive and inefficient, a waste of time for all but the most vociferous participants. When run effectively, however, meetings can be a valuable and necessary way to collaborate and draw on the best of what all employees can offer to progress the aims and objectives of the organization.

In this practical, communicative workshop, you'll develop the language, skills and strategies to participate in and facilitate efficient, productive meetings through setting clear goals, building rapport, active listening and concise, impactful verbal communication.

Participate in discussions, roleplays, debates, mock business meetings and other authentic activities to rehearse key meeting skills that will help you become a vital contributor in any business meeting or discussion.

Learning Objectives

  • Develop the language and skills to communicate in an engaging, impactful way during various types of meeting
  • Learn how to plan and facilitate efficient, effective meetings that encourage participation, collaboration and productivity
  • Build the confidence and fluency you need to get your voice heard and become a key contributor in any discussion

Prerequisites

Pre-intermediate English proficiency (CEFR A2-B1 level) or higher
