Responsibilities

• Assist Prototyping Lab in all creation phases, from sample built, assembly to product.
• Creation of physical prototypes through Urethane Vacuum Casting, CNC machining (CAD/CAM).
• Perform minor maintenance and troubleshoot errors with mechanical equipment.
• Continuously increase knowledge of latest technological trends in rapid prototyping and post-processing of parts.
• Collaborate with other Motorola creation centers and outside resources as needed.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, CNC CAD/CAM, Mechanical Engineering, Model Making or related disciplines.
• Experience in generating 3D CAD and 2D drawing (PTC Creo Parametric experience will be added advantage)
• Experience with various rapid prototyping processes such as CNC Machining, and Silicon Rubber Molding (SRM) /Urethane Vacuum Casting process preferred.
• Experience working in a prototyping lab environment using a variety of tools and machinery.
