Founder Member

The PSDC Founder Membership was closed since 1990. The Centre currently has 21 Founder Members. Founder Members’ right and entitlement are the same as Full Members’.

Full Member

Rights & Entitlement

  • Eligible to be elected to the PSDC Management Council at the Centre’s Annual General Meeting.
  • Eligible to nominate Founder or Full Members for election to the PSDC Management Council at the Annual General Meeting.
  • Eligible to one (1) vote at the Annual General Meeting.

Ordinary Member

Rights & Entitlement

  • Eligible to nominate Founder or Full Members for election to the PSDC Management Council at the Annual General Meeting.
  • An Ordinary Member may apply to become a Full Member by paying the difference of the membership fee paid subject to decision of the Management Council as per Article 6(5)(e).
  • Eligible to one (1) vote at the Annual General Meeting.

Criteria & Guidelines

1. The organisation must be incorporated in Malaysia.

2. An organisation may opt to apply for membership as a separate legal entity or as a group of companies operating under the direct control of a parent holding company. The PSDC will only liaise with the parent company. The membership fee shall cover the number of employees of the separate legal entity or the group of related companies as the case may be. (Note: The number of employees should include branches as well as subsidiaries for companies opting for parent holding company membership. It includes both management and non-management staff. Contractual labour is excluded.)

3. PSDC Members are encouraged to provide attachment and internship placements for final-year PSDC students.
