Responsibilities
- Conduct visual, mechanical, and functional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Perform standardized tests on products to verify compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and quality control activities.
- Prepare reports on inspection findings, quality issues, and corrective actions.
- Identify and document any deviations or non-conformances from quality standards.
- Assist in investigating and resolving quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions as needed.
- Operate and calibrate testing and inspection equipment to ensure accurate results.
- Perform routine maintenance on quality control equipment and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying areas for improvement and suggesting changes to enhance quality.
- Facilitate effective communication between different departments to ensure alignment on quality standards and issues.
Requirements
- Proficiency in using quality control tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Understanding of quality control methodologies and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspection and testing.
