Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
Performs rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.
Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.
Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related engineering fields
Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic and mechanical equipment
Proficient in operating electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, AOI (Automated Optical Inspection), and X-ray machines
Knowledge of SMT (Surface Mount Technology) assembly processes
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality control, process validation, calibration, and preventive maintenance
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to work in shifts and meet production demands
Experience with debugging PCBA and test program knowledge is an advantage
