Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and CNC lathes to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Select, install, and adjust cutting tools, tool holders, and workpieces.
• Perform machine programming and tool offset adjustments for CNC machines.
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy.
• Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments.
• Maintain machines by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve machining processes.

Requirements

• SKM/Certificate or Diploma in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of CNC Programs and CAD CAM.
• Ability to read and interprets technical drawings.
