Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing, customizing and sustaining software
- Development and debugging of software/ BIOS for Kontron embedded hardware platforms
- Support bring-up and debugging
- Support on Software/ BIOS sustaining tasks
- Perform Software/ BIOS validation according to Kontron defined test cases
- Work closely with other design group on product design I development in order to obtain optimum system performance
- Follow the design rule as stated in the design development procedure to ensure the software maintainability & reusability.
- Responsible for preparation of Software engineering documents.
- Maintain, upgrade and customized design as requested.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at Least a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic
- Engineering or equivalent
- Strong C/ C++/ assembly coding skill, analytical and debugging skills
- Working knowledge and experience in various microcontroller/microprocessor architectures
- Familiar with x86/ PC architecture, embedded tools, operating systems
- such as Windows 10 and Linux will be an added advantage
- Familiar with variety of specification, protocols and standards such as 12C, SMBUS, PCI/PCIE, ACPI, SMBIOS, EEPROM, LVDS, VBIOS, GOP will be an added advantage
- Experience in legacy System BIOS cores and/or experience with EFI/ UEFI
- cores will be an added advantage
- Familiar with AMI Aptio 4/5 BIOS I Phoenix BIOS and/or EDK-11 development environment will be an added advantage.
