Responsibilities
- Assemble products or components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery according to detailed specifications and blueprints.
- Fabricate and assemble sub-assemblies as required, ensuring proper fit and function.
- Perform visual and mechanical inspections of assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, including work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered
- Report any defects, non-conformances, or quality concerns to management, and suggest improvements as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Work closely with other assembly technicians, engineers, and production staff to coordinate assembly activities and address any issues.
- Provide guidance and support to new or less experienced assembly technicians.
- Participate in training programs to improve skills and stay updated on new technologies and techniques related to assembly.
Requirements
- Proficiency in using assembly tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
- Experience in wiring and soldering is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in assembly tasks.
- Understanding of mechanical principles and component assembly.
