Student Recruiter

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications / Business Administration / Education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of work experience is preferred in student recruitment, admissions, or related areas, preferably within an educational institution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information about the institution and its programs to prospective students, parents, and educational partners.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with school counselors, teachers, community-based organizations, and prospective students.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and travel for recruitment events as required.
  • Knowledge of effective student recruitment strategies and the ability to implement outreach activities, both in-person and virtually.
  • Exceptional customer service skills to respond to inquiries, provide guidance to prospective students, and assist them throughout the enrollment process.
  • Experience in planning, coordinating, and participating in recruitment events, college fairs, and school visits.

Requirements

  • Represent and promote PSDC at recruitment events, both in-person (college fairs, school visits, community events) and online.
  • Plan and participate in recruitment events, such as open houses and workshops.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to develop marketing strategies and create promotional materials.
  • Respond to inquiries from prospective students and assist with the application process.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration on effective recruitment strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local schools, including counselors, teachers, and community organizations, to raise awareness of PSDC and secure referrals.
  • Organize and lead campus visits and student information sessions (in-person and virtual) to showcase PSDC's offerings to potential students.
  • Manage and guide assigned inquiries and applicants, ensuring a seamless transition into PSDC.
  • Facilitate communication between college officials, prospective students, and business/industry stakeholders to gather input on course development and program updates.
