Malaysian Meister Program

Adapted from the German Meister (meaning Master Craftsman) Program, the Malaysian Meister Program (MMP) is a major breakthrough in Technical and Vocational Education & Training (TVET) in Malaysia. It represents the future for TVET Malaysia to meet its goal with sufficient knowledge workers to become a high-income nation with a knowledge based economy.

The Malaysian Meister Program (MMP) is designed to upskill graduates and reskill the existing Mechatronic Engineering and Precision Machining workforce. Apprentices are trained through a two-pronged approach where training is conducted at both the workplace and training institution in actual work conditions under the guidance of competent coaches and Meister trainers.
