About This Course
This 2-day professional training program, "Developing Enterprise AI Agents: A Practical Guide with Google Cloud's Agent Builder," is designed to empower participants to create AI agents that enhance work productivity within the Google ecosystem. Over the two days, attendees will gain the foundational skills to design, build, ground, and deploy robust AI agents using Google Cloud's Agent Development Kit (ADK) and Vertex AI.
The course is tailored for a technical audience, including technical managers, team leads, architects, software developers, data scientists, and ML engineers. It is also ideal for teams focused on digital transformation who want to move beyond prototypes to build scalable solutions.
Participants are expected to have a basic understanding of Python, familiarity with fundamental Google Cloud Platform (GCP) concepts, and a conceptual
knowledge of APIs and data structures like JSON. While prior experience with AI or machine learning is beneficial, it is not a mandatory prerequisite.
The curriculum is structured as follows:
• Day 1: Building and Deploying a Foundational AI Agent
o This day focuses on the fundamentals of the Agent Development Kit (ADK), grounding agents with custom tools, introducing multi-agent systems, and deploying the agent to the Vertex AI Agent Engine.
• Day 2: Advanced Grounding and Protocols
o The second day delves into more advanced topics, including grounding with Vertex AI Search, implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for both structured and unstructured data, and using advanced protocols like the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent2Agent (A2A) SDK.
