Responsibilities

• Conduct optical performance testing, characterization, and calibration.
• Analyze test data, troubleshoot optical performance issues, and test optical systems.
• Establish optical validation criteria and ensure compliance with quality and industry standards.
• Support manufacturing teams in optical system assembly, alignment, and process improvement.
• Identify and resolve production issues related to optical components and systems.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, mechanical and electrical engineering teams.
• Prepare optical technical reports and specifications.
• Demonstrate familiarity with optical metrology equipment and alignment tools.
• Interpret optical and mechanical drawings.
• Working experience in a precision manufacturing or cleanroom environment is a plus.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• At least a 2 years of hands-on experience assembling, aligning, and testing optical systems.
• Knowledge of general laser safety practices.
• Meticulous, analytical, and proactive team player with strong documentation and communication skills.
