Responsibilities
- Conduct optical performance testing, characterization, and calibration.
- Analyze test data, troubleshoot optical performance issues, and test optical systems.
- Establish optical validation criteria and ensure compliance with quality and industry standards.
- Support manufacturing teams in optical system assembly, alignment, and process improvement.
- Identify and resolve production issues related to optical components and systems.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, mechanical and electrical engineering teams.
- Prepare optical technical reports and specifications.
- Demonstrate familiarity with optical metrology equipment and alignment tools.
- Interpret optical and mechanical drawings.
- Working experience in a precision manufacturing or cleanroom environment is a plus.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- At least a 2 years of hands-on experience assembling, aligning, and testing optical systems.
- Knowledge of general laser safety practices.
- Meticulous, analytical, and proactive team player with strong documentation and communication skills.
