Responsibilities

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development and Sales Executive at PSDC, located in Bayan Lepas, Penang. The Business Development and Sales Executive will play a key role in driving business growth by promoting PSDC’s corporate training programs and capabilities to the industry.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing strategic partnerships with SMEs and member companies

  • Executing effective customer relationship management and sales strategies

  • Promoting, marketing, and selling PSDC’s corporate training programs and solutions

  • Marketing PSDC’s core capabilities to drive sales and margin growth

  • Networking and engaging with key decision-makers and industry influencers

  • Participating in forums, conferences, and industry platforms to promote PSDC and generate new business leads

  • Acquiring and analyzing customer feedback on PSDC’s services and programs to improve offerings and satisfaction

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Sales, Marketing, or Engineering (Engineering or IT background is an added advantage)
  • Proficient in English and Malay; knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage
  • Strong communication and sales skills
  • Excellent customer relationship skills, with a focus on service quality and client retention
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willing and able to travel for client meetings, networking events, and business development activities
