Responsibilities
  • Design and develop control, machine software & hardware for high-speed automated machines
  • To analyze and develop solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Responsible for process definition, software development and hardware qualification
  • Perform application integration test
  • Provide assistances and machine software & hardware support to customers as well as evaluation to find solutions on customer’s modification requests
  • Plan and manage technical projects or tasks to meet expectations on quality and timeliness
  • Perform proper engineering documentation, SOP and guideline
  • Design, develop and create electrical schematic diagram using 2D Electrical CAD drawing and perform electrical/wiring assembly for automation machine based on IEC and UL/EU safety standards
  • Perform internal & external testing/buyoff, machine troubleshooting and commissioning for projects
  • Responsible for electrical component sizing based on the project requirements and system architecture
  • Coordinate projects and work closely with the mechanical design team and machine control team (software) team to ensure the electrical design and installation are completed on time for optimum performance
Requirements
  • Degree or above in Engineering or Science in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics/ Computer/Optical/Photonics with second upper class or above
  • Strong in software programming, optical inspection & image processing
  • Experience in using vision library e.g., Halcon, Euresys
  • Well versed in Visual C++, Visual C#, VB.NET programming language
