Responsibilities
  • Install, troubleshot and maintain all technology components – desktops/laptops, printers, barcode scanner, RF terminal and software applications. Basic understanding of network components will also be required.
  • Schedules and perform PC, hardware and peripheral equipment improvements, upgrades and repairs.
  • Provide second level support for all end-user problems and act as an escalation point to the as necessary.
  • Testing and evaluating new technology.
  • Package, test, deploy and update software.
  • Create and maintain desktop images, reimaging computer/hard drive, backup and restoring settings.
  • Strong customer-oriented attitude
  • Support production shop floor related application support.
  • Perform asset inventory.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent applicable experience required. MCP, MCSE or CCNA is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in related field. Preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft operating systems and office productivity suite
  • Administration experience in MS Active Directory, Users, Group and Policies.
  • Must be able to support an enterprise desktop environment
  • Thorough knowledge of Operating Systems up to Windows 8.1 or 10, Microsoft Office 2010 and above.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Team player with ability to work in a team and individual contributor
  • Ability to communicate confidently with vendors, users and all level of staff
  • Positive attitude and eager to learn.
  • Strong sense of urgency, time-management and able to work under pressure.
  • Good customer service orientation and follow up skills required.
  • Good organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly, in a fast paced changing environment.
  • Good documentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as within teams required.
  • Willing to work at odd hours when necessary.
