Responsibilities

• Responsible for project setup and maintenance including create block/compartment database for all disciplines, assign user access rights to corresponding database, global connection setup between Singapore and Penang.
• Responsible for catalogue component creation, component specification and assembly library creation, and input component weight and material code based on project standard.
• Conduct model, drawing and clash check, interference check and component specification and weight cross check.
• System development and customization for various projects based on our yard standard
• Prepare training manuals and conduct training to new users.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by superior

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent
• No experience candidates are welcome, on job training provided
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Good to have knowledge on programming
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Organized and able to meet deadlines
• Able to work under stress and willing to put in extra effort
• High determination and willingness to learn
