Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the design and execution of the electrical, instrumentation, & controls system requirements according to required standard and customer requirements.
  • Responsible for component selection, electrical design, wiring diagram, wiring, testing and etc.
  • Communicate with project managers on system requirements including design specifications & equipment procurement, manufacturing, and delivery schedules.
  • To have a close collaboration with project management, design team and programming team in project execution and responsibly for electrical and wiring sections.
  • To source for electrical related components, parts and suppliers according to customer and project specifications and current standards and liaise with purchasing team for electrical parts request.
  • To manage electrical suppliers and sub-contractors for their scope of works, schedules and monitoring performance of sub-contractor to complete the system and equipment.
  • To oversee onsite installation, start-up, and testing support for electrical and wiring works.
  • To manage onsite electrical / controls sub-contractors (as required) or start-up personnel to deliver the electrical, instrumentation, & controls portion of turn-key projects on schedule.
  • To provide electrical schematics and operations documentation for equipment.
  • To inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
  • To record, implement and check all electrical design changes during the project and follow up.
  • To implement lessons learned in upcoming projects and follow up.
  • To have excellent knowledge of the relevant current standards, regulations and methods including state of technology relating to electrical and electronic industries.
  • To implement best practices throughout the project sites and participate in discussions with the teams for effective management and utilisation of constrained resources.
  • To assist for acting on, and solving all customer complaints related to project electrical activities as swiftly as possible with a minimum of inconvenience to the customer, and to keep the customer up-to-date on actions taken, together with a time plan for which the identified issues can be resolved.
  • Ensuring adequate quality assurance of all deliverables in relation electrical aspects for Faeth’s equipment supply to customers.
Requirements
  • Candidates must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical or equivalent.
  • Working knowledgeable of Industrial PLC programming applications including Siemens, Allan Bradley, Hitachi, etc.
  • Able to use E-Plan or electrical CAD program.
  • Competent in performing design calculations for equipment power distribution systems and related electrical/controls requirements.
  • Verbal & written skills in the English language, other languages useful.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with people at all level and to work cross functionally.
  • Strong analytical, planning, negotiation, oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • A team player who is independent, self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Relevant working experience in manufacturing field, semiconductor industries is an added advantage.
  • Readiness for to travel worldwide.
