  • To assist Commissioning and Service Manager or Faeth associated companies for startup and commissioning of equipment supplied to customer.
  • To coordinate with onsite sub-contractors for equipment testing and commissioning activities, scheduling and work towards planned schedule and ensuring that all the system and equipment are commissioning and start up on time as per customer specification and requirements.
  • To ensure timely commissioning and certification of all systems and equipment supplied to the customers.
  • To prepare, collect, review, manage, and maintain project design and start-up documentation as required by customer for final acceptance of the equipment.
  • To implement best start-up practices throughout the project sites and participate in discussion with team for effective management and utilisation of constrained resources.
  • Responsible for acting on, and solving all design or start-up related issues as swiftly as possible, with a minimum of inconvenience to the customer, and to keep the Project Manager up-to-date on actions taken, together with a time plan for which the identified issues can be resolved.
  • To participate in Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Safety Management System (SMS) functions throughout the project.
  • To perform preventive and corrective maintenance as scheduled; attend to unplanned downtime or breakdowns across all Faeth equipment & systems.
  • To provide training to end customer for Faeth equipment supplied based on the user manual, providing technical instruction and assistance to customer regarding installation, commissioning, operation, repair and maintenance of equipment.
  • To investigating problems, diagnosing/repairing faults and carry out field troubleshooting and repair of Faeth products at customers’ site both local & overseas.
  • To perform maintenance and calibration tasks / duties as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Working Instructions (WI) as required.
  • To collect feedback on customer’s experience / products quality issues and suggest to project engineering team for product improvement.
  • To carry out field troubleshooting and repair of Faeth products at customers’ site both local & overseas.
  • To handle daily operational tasks and participate in plant troubleshooting as required.
  • Any other tasks as and when assigned by the superior.
  • Ensure compliance with technical integrity standards & project procedures.
  • Upon project completion, assist to organise a post mortem meeting with Department Head for evaluation of the project results and project issues faced during commissioning activities and to provide recommendations to Management for future improvement.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Cert, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Degree in Engineering or equivalent in related field.
  • Preferably more than one (1) years’ experience with strong understanding of project planning, project management functions, sourcing and technical planning.
  • Relevant working experience in manufacturing field, semiconductor industries is an added advantage.
  • A good team player and ability to communicate and interact with people at all level and to work cross functionally.
  • Strong analytical, planning, negotiation, oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • A team player who is independent, self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project, AutoCAD or equivalent CAD/ 3D Software.
  • Willingness to travel including oversea.
