The purpose of this training program is to help participants understand the current additive manufacturing technology and how it can be applied into the design process. This program will cover an overview of 3D printing technology and will include a hands-on workshop on FDM and PolyJet, which are two leading 3D printing technologies. Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to identify opportunities to apply 3D printing technology to save time and cost, evaluate real-life scenarios, recommend the appropriate use of 3D printing technology, and design and print objects using FDM and PolyJet.Who Should Attend

Nar Hai Shin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Hons) in Agricultural Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia. He previously worked as a Research Assistant at Universiti Putra Malaysia and a Micro-Mechanical Designer at Polar Twin Advance (M) Sdn Bhd before assuming the his current role as R&D Manager at IME Technology, overseeing 3D printer design and development. With more than 15 years of experience in the CAD/CAM and 3D printing industry, Nar Hai Shin has handled various projects on 3D Solid Modeling and he is well-versed in various applications such as SolidWorks, Rhino, Moldex, AutoCAD, and IDEA. He is also an experienced trainer and has conducted various CADCAM and addictive manufacturing/3D printing training to the industry.
