The Industrial Skills Enhancement Program, commonly known as INSEP is a post-graduate program fully funded by the Ministry of Finance. It is a complimentary skills enhancement program aimed at increasing employability.

The PSDC has been offering the INSEP program since 2001 with the objective to provide candidates the right skills and competencies as well as innovative capabilities to meet the current and future challenges in the industry.

A list of new programs have been developed based on the skills required by the industries. Qualified candidates will receive monthly cash allowance of RM700.00 and may select from the following courses

• Design & Development
• Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP, SAP)
• Information Communication Technology (ICT)

In order to inculcate a sense of responsibility and self-discipline, full attendance is expected and class performances will be strictly monitored by qualified trainers.

The total duration of the INSEP program varies between 5-12 months with both training and industrial attachment. Graduates will be placed with world-class organizations and reputable local companies which include AMD, Prodelcon, LBSB and many more.

Such an arrangement will create a win-win situation where companies can increase their productivity while graduates gain more working experience preparing them for more employment opportunities.
