The PSDC has made great strides in the field of education and skills training since its inception in 1989. Throughout its 20 year history, PSDC has always emphasised on the importance of quality education and training, a formula that has formed the basis of PSDC’s excellent track record. The programs offered are designed to provide students a firm foundation in the engineering field and prepare them for their embarkation to degree programs.

Since the introduction of the Diploma in Engineering Program in 1993, PSDC has produced more than 1,600 graduates in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering.  While many of the program graduates have joined the industry, more than 60% of these graduates chose to pursue further studies to the degree level during the last few years due to the increasing demand of human resources needs by the industries. 

Being one of the best equipped industry-led education and training institution in the northern region that is supported by multinational corporate members, we have invested more than RM25 million in the state-of-the-art engineering and computer laboratories. Vast employment prospects with top-notch corporations. The hands-on method of studying is similar to an engineer working on a real-time scenario; moreover students will visit factories and attend seminars conducted by senior engineers, managers or CEOs.  In addition, they have the opportunity to pursue a degree with any of our partner universities and training partners.
