Currently, the PSDC offers two FasTrack programs: FasTrack PRO and FasTrack.
What is FasTrack PRO?
FasTrack PRO targets the existing engineers in employment.
The FasTrack Pro is a collaborative development effort by the PSDC and the industry to continuously upgrade skillsets of existing engineers to a higher level of competency. Its main objective is to help ensure the constant development of knowledge workers and talent for the D&D and R&D sector. The core areas of training and development under this program include Radio Frequency, Embedded Systems and Design for Compliance. The FasTrack Pro program not only offers a comprehensive learning syllabus but also provides a ‘real-time’ learning experience in well-equipped development labs.
What is FasTrack?
A 12-month Apprenticeship Program specially designed for University Engineering Graduates with a CGPA of 3.5 and above, FasTrack Lite allows apprentices to undergo formal classroom and lab training, and experience a complete industrial immersion through Host Companies. The program not only offers a monthly allowance of RM3,000, it also gives the apprentices an invaluable opportunity to learn from the best in the industry. Key cluster areas include Radio Frequency, Embedded Systems, Wafer Technology, and Test & Measurement.
